Tuesday 10-12pm

Kate Nash is a multi-award winning recording artist, actress and activist from London. With a platinum selling album, a BRIT Award, and a hit TV series, Kate is known across the music & film industries as a forthright songwriter, fierce actress & unabashed feminist.

Kate stars in the acclaimed ensemble Netflix series, GLOW from Jenji Kohan, alongside Marc Maron and Alison Brie in which she portrays Rhonda Richardson/AKA Britannica, a role modelled by one of the original GORGEOUS LADIES OF WRESTLING from the 1980’s. The Guardian call’s Rhonda ‘a brilliant breakout role’ for Ms. Nash. Kate played the iconic historical figure ‘Boudica’ in the British Comedy film based on the hit tv series ‘Horrible Histories The Movie; Rotten Romans” released summer of 2019, alongside Craig Roberts, Kim Katrall, Lee Mack & Warwick Davies. Kate most recently appeared on screen as serial killer Mary Coleford in 2020’s Truthseekers, the new amazon show from Nick Frost & Simon Pegg.

For the past 10 years, Kate has worked alongside multiple Tony award Winning Choreographer Andy Blankenbeuhler (IN THE HEIGHTS, HAMILTON, BANDSTAND) to create the music for a dance based musical entitled ONLY GOLD.

She has released 4 albums to date including her number one selling debut Made of Bricks (2007) and follow up My Best Friend is You (2010) on Fiction records. After infamously getting dropped from her label by text message in 2012 she self released Girl Talk (2013) & raised $170,000 in a kickstarter campaign for her most recent album ‘Yesterday was Forever’ (2017). Kate is currently working on new music with plans to release this year and details for that can be found at Patreon.com/katenash.

A documentary about Kate’s music history screened in 2019 on the BBC as part of its prestigious Storyville series, it had its US premiere last year and will be released on DVD & available to stream everywhere in 2021.
