By day, Dan works at the award winning Camden New Journal, specialising in the arts and news, as well as whiling away hours on The Guardian's night desk.

At other times, Dan can be found at the helm of the Dig It Sound System, a hand built, tricycle pulled, fully operational set of woofers and tweeters that is renowned for touring streets, fields and beyond with a motley crew of bass line addicts.

Dig It has rocked parties for more than two decades, and their roster ranges from free raves to Glastonbury, street party sets through touring with Chas and Dave. They've rocked every where from pubs and clubs to moonshine dives, partying up protests and making noise where you don’t normally hear it...

A published author, his books include fiction - Doctor Zipp's Amazing Octo-Com – and political non fiction with Public Service On The Brink. His weekly Boogaloo show features music, interviews and stories like you've never heard before…
